The lobby zone is an essential environment that
intents to illustrate a sense of futuristic flair,
by carrying the brand identity of DIGI Telecomunication.
The space is design to be a modern twenty first
century telecommunication company. It intents to
provide an engaging experience to the employees by
making an impression at the lobby zone.

MODEL MAKING FURNITURE /
KOOB CHAIR

The KOOB CHAIR is designed according to the
proposed furniture design project of space
saving. This furniture is labeled as a lounge
& coffee table which would be best suited with
compact living lifestyle. With the ability to be
folded to save space when needed or simply
unfold when in use.

The furniture design was particularly inspired by the result of pop-up books. It consists of 3 dimensional structure
rises up to form a lounge chair and coffee table. Its made up of 4 pieces of 30x30 inches in size plywood forming
together with hinges. Allowing spaces in the middle to shape into an ergonomic chair and small table.

The 30x30 inches in size
plywood can be totally
folded for easy
transportation and when
intended for use, the user
will simply have it expanded.
Using the technique of
pop ups a relaxing station
consisting of lounge chair
and a coffee table appears
and disappears.

It has the ability to save space. When folded, can be served as a piece of artwork
