The right arm is held outward<br />
with the elbow bent and all fingers<br />
extended except the thumb. The<br />
elbow is then straightened and<br />
the arm is extended upward in<br />
a swooping motion. This signal<br />
should begin with a point to the<br />
skater accompanied by a whistle,<br />
followed by the appropriate penalty<br />
signal & the verbal announcement,<br />
and then the swoop. Repeat as<br />
necessary.<br />
The right arm is held<br />

& index finger extended. The<br />
elbow is then straightened<br />
and the arm is extended<br />
upward in a swooping motion.<br />
This signal should begin<br />
with a point to the skater<br />
accompanied by a whistle,<br />
followed by the appropriate<br />
penalty signal & verbal<br />
announcement, and then the<br />
swoop. Repeat as necessary.<br />
The right arm is extended with<br />
the thumb up. The elbow is bent<br />
and the hand is moved up with<br />
the thumb pointing toward the<br />
shoulder.<br />
