SENIOR PROCESS INDUSTRY SPECIALIST<br />
<strong>Roger</strong> <strong>Pelham</strong> is a Senior HPI Specialist at Facilitated Integration Technology (F.I.T.). <strong>Roger</strong> worked<br />
at Chevron’s Richmond refinery for seven years before branching out and joining the founders of<br />
Profimatics <strong>Inc</strong>. He was an early pioneer in developing the software and services industry which now<br />
provides most simulation, advanced control, optimization, planning and IT technologies to the HPI.<br />
In addition to his knowledge of “automation” and its applications in HPI, <strong>Roger</strong> also maintains a<br />
strong footing in more traditional refinery operations. He founded the Refinery Process and Energy<br />
Survey business, and personally conducted over twenty five refinery wide surveys for clients world<br />
wide. In addition he developed and conducted over thirty process engineer training courses for major<br />
refiners.<br />
Following his long career with Chevron, Profimatics, and Honeywell, <strong>Roger</strong> started his own practice in<br />
1996. <strong>Pelham</strong> Consulting LLC has provided consulting services to twenty-five oil and oil related<br />
companies in twelve countries.<br />

Middle East NOC. Review of bottom of the barrel processing options, including innovative new<br />
research, ongoing developments, and current options.<br />
European Major Refinery wide survey of process operations (ROCs) at eleven refineries in six<br />
European countries.<br />
USA Refiners. ROCs at twelve refineries, three different refining companies.<br />
USA Refiner. Business process redesign for achievement of future goals.<br />
French Vendor. Development and implementation of strategic plan to increase range of services<br />
offered to clients.<br />
Middle East Refiner Evaluation of alternate refinery scheduling systems.<br />

<strong>Pelham</strong> Consulting is a sole–proprieter business providing services to companies in the global<br />
hydrocarbon processing industry. Services are offered in two areas. First are operating<br />
companies seeking advice on improvement of operations and application of process automation<br />
technologies. Second are vendor companies, seeking advice on market, business and technical<br />
strategies.<br />
Honeywell Hi Spec Solutions. Phoenix AZ. (1994 - 1996)<br />
President.<br />
Formed Hi Spec following Honeywell acquisition of Profimatics <strong>Inc</strong>.in 1994. Responsible for<br />
integrating Profimatics, Icotron and Honeywell OM&S activity into single business unit world<br />
wide, and setting strategic direction for the new business unit. Direct responsibility for<br />
sales/marketing, projects, R&D, budgets and P&L.<br />

President 1987 – 1994.<br />
As President increased company revenues fourfold in 7 year period, while maintaining<br />
significant bottom line profitability. Expanded company base from original APC and SIM<br />
series models, to include major IT and offsites business.<br />
Throughout this period was responsible for strategic directions, acquisitions, sales/marketing,<br />
projects, administration and P&L.<br />

Vice President (1974-1987).<br />
Developed and led Profimatics Process and Energy Survey business. Worked on over 25<br />
refinery surveys world wide. Expanded Control Master Plan activities to a sustainable line of<br />
business. Created Profimatic’s “Process Engineering Training Course”. Conducted course over<br />
30 times at refineries in USA, Canada, and Europe. Established Profimatics Gmbh in Hamburg.<br />

Consulting Engineer (1968-74).<br />
Worked on early Profimatics computer control projects. Involved with early development and<br />
marketing of SIM series kinetic process simulation models. Started Profimatics Refinery<br />
Process Survey activities in 1972. Conducted first ever Control Master Plan (for BP - Marcus<br />
