What is the new
Campus Center?
The Heart of the Campus | Key Principles
1. It must be designed with the Student of 2020
in mind. The “Net Generation”, Millenials – they
see their future entirely based around
technology.
COLLEGE OF COASTAL GEORGIA
2. It must be accessible and highly visible.
Accessibility and visibility from the campus and
off-campus, while embracing campus
image/identity.
3. It should be treated as an Informal Learning
Space. For learning, collaboration, and
socialization
4. It should be designed with longevity and future
flexibility in mind. Plan for adaptable, multipurpose
spaces with appropriate systems
