R EBUILDING
For complete rebuilding, each pump is…
Torn down and inspected with written
estimate to rebuild prepared at no charge.
Cleaned in alkaline hot tank with materials
disposed of per regulatory guidelines.
Assembled and lubricated using new seals,
filters, oil, and quoted replacement parts.
Run-in for 20 hours minimum.
Mass spectrometer leak tested, measured
for blank-off pressure, checked for oil leaks
and unusual noises.
Painted, labelled, crated, and shipped —
all with a fast turnaround time.
B ALANCING
MHV can dynamically balance
impellers up to 1,500-pounds.
Also available is a Fast Fourier
Transform (FFT) vibration analysis
performed on all laser boosters.
Rebuilt with
new boiler plate
R ENTING
MHV generally has rental units
available to minimize downtime
during rebuilding.
T ESTING
MHV has an extensive collection of Dial Snap
Gages, Bore Gages, and Setting Masters
to properly gage shaft, eccentric, and pistonslide
diameters within ±.0001".
Complete Hot Test facilities for:
Blowers ~ 100-hp variable frequency test stand
Laser Boosters ~ 5-hp variable frequency test
stand to 85-Hz
Liquid Rings ~ Test stand with diesel oil circulation
and heat exchanger to test up to 50-hp;
capacitance manometer vacuum gaging

Ground Eccentric
The two bearing diameters
are ground to restore the
surface finish, then the
mating diameters in the
piston-slide are sleeved to
match the eccentric.
Kinney Slide Pins
Slide pins for all sizes
of Kinney rotary piston
pumps.
Hinge Bar Bores
When a rotary piston
pump hinge bar bore
becomes scored, MHV
can line-bore the block to
restore the proper surface
finish.
Mechanical Seal Kit
Conversion kit for 6-inch
Stokes blowers. The
mechanical seal can be
replaced without removing
the blower end plate or
draining the oil. Special
tools required.
