Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart /
Vortex) had dominated the KF,
but he was once again denied
victory at La Conca because of an
engine problem in the final. Alexander
Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex), who
had shown himself as his main rival
by winning prefinal B, was heading
towards a first well-deserved victory
with the fastest lap of the race. Not
a good start in this event, Leonardo
Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) was on a
comeback to the second step of the
podium in front of Felice Tiene (CRG
/ Parilla). 6th in the final, Karol Basz
(Kosmic / Vortex) is still leading the
championship ahead of Nielsen and
Vartanyan.
