Cradle the trench drain with concrete
n Place concrete around base of rebar posts on each
side of the trench drain as well as underneath the
trench drain between the rebar posts.
n Repeat concrete cradle for each pair of rebar posts.
Pour the concrete in the trench drain

n Pour equal amounts of concrete on each side of
the trench drain to prevent it from shifting.
n Vibrate the concrete to avoid bubbles or voids.
Tip: Installations in asphalt require the
same concrete encasements.

Clean up the installation
n After the concrete has set for a minimum of 24 hours,
remove the Blank Grate Inserts.
n Install the grates.
n Ensure that the grates are securely fastened.
