Test kit manufacturer Taylor Technologies’ WiseLAB ® for in-store water analysis goes beyond giving test results to
offer computer-generated treatment recommendations based on your store’s inventory of chemicals. The countertop
laboratory is built to withstand heavy use and is sized for water analysis centers with limited workspace. The lab
features familiar Taylor chemistries. Retailers who already stock our 2 oz. reagents for 2000 Series test kits will have
no need to order special reagents for lab use only, as with some competitors’ systems.
The WiseLAB for Wet Chemistry (K-0200) employs the same 2 oz. liquid reagents as Taylor’s best-selling professional
kits for testing pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, and cyanuric acid stabilizer. No need for special chemistries only
you will use! The FAS-DPD method determines chlorine and bromine levels. FAS-DPD tests over a wider range than
DPD alone—from as low as 0.2 ppm to as high as 20 ppm chlorine. One innovation is the “reagent garage” that lets
you leave dropper bottles uncapped until the end of the workday without compromising their effectiveness.
The lab guides the user with lighted prompts and screen messages: the results will be accurate no matter how experienced
the counter help. The WiseLAB operates with taylorwise Water Analysis Software (purchase separately as
#9003) installed on an existing PC-with-printer in your water-testing station. Simply follow the prompts on the software
support website, www.taylorsoftwaresupport.com, to download, customize, and run the program.
You can make adjustments to the water analysis program; store customer information; create a shopping list based on
340+ branded treatment products or their generic equivalents; completely personalize the printout for your business;
and even input results from tests for copper, iron, salt, TDS, phosphate, biguanide sanitizer, and biguanide oxidizer
performed with Taylor’s specialty kits. The report generated contains the test readings, treatment recommendations as
necessary, and a shopping list. Counter staff will be able to give the customer advice in layman’s terms with consistency,
accuracy, and repeatability. (You can even e-mail their test results.) The lab is exceptionally easy to keep neat and
clean. While having a sink nearby is desirable, it is not necessary. The lab base is covered by a five-year limited warranty,
including complete replacement at no cost to you in the first year; the software warranty is for one year. Technical
