DERBY “TEA AT ONE” - Ladies Only
It’s Tea Party time!! Ladies
please join us for “Tea at One”
Friday, May 4th, at– you
guessed it - 1:00 p.m. What
better theme for us Kentucky
tea drinkers than the
“Kentucky Derby.” Start designing
your original hat now!
If you don’t want to make your
hat, just wear one you already
have! We will have a some
wear “just plain bought hats!”
We’ll have prizes for: (1) the
prettiest, (2) the wackiest, (3)
best themed (4) most original
and (5) most work. Take your
Easter bonnet or your Goodwill
bonnet and stick a horse
on it and you could win! Start
designing your bonnet now!
We will be serving varieties of
tea along with “yummy”
munchies, perfect for an afternoon
tea! We will also have
iced tea for those who simply
do not drink hot tea!.
For our program we ask that
you bring something special to
you. Maybe something that is

that has a special meaning.
Share with the group the story
about what makes your item
special. So put this on your
calendar, invite your friend
and call and make your reservation.

Name three consecutive days without using the words Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday.
There are six glasses in a row. The first three are full of water, and the next three are empty. By moving water
in only one glass how can you make them alternate between full and empty?

Chicken Parmesan
2 meals for 2 people!
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 pound)
4 cups any spaghetti sauce (I like garlic and onion)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 - 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 package spaghetti, or any pasta, cooked and drained (about 4 cups) ( I like ziti, simply because it is easy to eat
Spoon a small amount of sauce in bottom of baking dish
Place the chicken in the baking dish. Top the chicken with the sauce. Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese and half
the Parmesan cheese. (will look like too much sauce but you will need it for second meal)
Bake at 400°F. for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the chicken and sauce over the spaghetti or pasta . Sprinkle on additional parmesan cheese
For second meal, simply place serving of left over pasta in the bottom of a serving dish, place 2 left over chicken breasts
on pasta and spoon sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese. Cover and refrigerate until you are
ready to use. Simply remove from refrigerator and microwave until hot, covering with a paper towel to minimize splattering.
With a salad and bread, you have another meal!

Senior Citizens especially should be aware of fraud schemes for the following reasons:
Senior citizens are most likely to have a "nest egg," to own their home, and/or to have excellent credit—all of which
make them attractive to con artists.
Older Americans are less likely to report a fraud because they don't know who to report it to, are too ashamed at having
been scammed, or don’t know they have been scammed.
When an elderly victim does report the crime, they often make poor witnesses.
Tips for Avoiding Health Care Fraud or Health Insurance Fraud:
• Never sign blank insurance claim forms.
• Never give blanket authorization to a medical provider to bill for services rendered.
• Ask your medical providers what they will charge and what you will be expected to pay out-of-pocket.
• Carefully review your insurer's explanation of the benefits statement. Call your insurer and provider if you have
questions.
• Do not do business with door-to-door or telephone salespeople who tell you that services of medical equipment
are free.
• Give your insurance/Medicare identification only to those who have provided you with medical services.
• Keep accurate records of all health care appointments.
• Know if your physician ordered equipment for you.
And most of all , have someone you trust to help you with questions or to help you research and know what is
going on if you have a question or need help!
