Air – nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, other trace gasses<br />
Each gas exerts its own pressure<br />
N 2 ~ 78.1% = 594 mmHg<br />
O 2 ~ 20.95% = 159 mmHg<br />
CO 2 ~ 0.03% = < 1 mmHg<br />
The rest ~ 0.9% = ~7 mmHg<br />
Total atmospheric pressure = 760 mmHg<br />
