<strong>SUBMISSION</strong> <strong>INSTRUCTIONS</strong>, <strong>2013</strong><br />

<strong>Dear</strong> <strong>Salon</strong> <strong>Artists</strong>,<br />

<strong>We</strong> <strong>are</strong> happy to inform you about our most exciting and the freshest event in the New Year! Yes, It is<br />

our long lasting <strong>Salon</strong> show, “The 14th Annual WAH <strong>Salon</strong> Art Club Membersʼ Show.”<br />

Date: January 26 - February 24, <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

Opening Reception: Saturday, January 26, 4 - 6PM<br />

Potluck Dinner: Sunday, February 24, 6 PM<br />

Submission Instructions:<br />

Please confirm your participation via e-mail or phone, no later than December 31, 2012<br />

2. For <strong>Salon</strong> Members including Newly Accepted Members: Download and complete the Membership<br />

Agreement Form and Entry Form: www.wahcenter.net/salon/<br />

3. Mail the two completed forms and an annual membership fee of $50 (make payable to WAH<br />

Center) to: WAH Center, 135 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11211. The deadline is December 31, 2012<br />

4. For New Applicants: Send a $15 application fee together with resume, statement and a minimumof<br />

4 images of your work (or you may let us view your website) when applied for a membership. You will<br />

receive our acceptance notice from us. If accepted, you follow the same procedure as all members<br />

<strong>are</strong> required to do as stated above.<br />

Submissions:<br />

You <strong>are</strong> invited to submit two medium size pieces or one large size piece (less than 6ʼ x 6ʼ). Please<br />

contact us if your work is in a series or you have a question about a sculpture installation. 2-D work<br />

must be framed, wired and ready to hang. 3-D work must be stable. All artwork must have a secure<br />

label (on the back) with your name and title of the work and also front (upper right side) with your<br />

name and title of the work.<br />

<strong>We</strong>bsite image:<br />

E-mail one jpeg image to orin@buckart.com that is NOT being submitted to the show. Include your<br />

name, title and media.<br />

HAND Delivery Dates:<br />

1. Monday, January 21, 2-6PM<br />

2. Tuesday, January 22, 6-8PM<br />

Deliver work to side entrance on Bedford Avenue:<br />

1. Ring bell for admittance.<br />

2. Bring artwork up to 2nd floor gallery.<br />

3. Please label all artwork with two secure labels, one on the front upper right and one on the back


stating your name and the title of the work<br />

Items to bring with your artwork:<br />

1. Current resume (limit 2 pages) with your name at the top. Do not include an address, e-mail, phone<br />

# or website.<br />

2. Statement (limit 1 page)<br />

3. Digital images on a USA standard 8 1/2" x 11" letter size paper ( limit 2 images) that <strong>are</strong> Not<br />

included in the exhibit. And an annual membership fee of $50 if you havenʼt paid.<br />

ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE TO BE INSERTED INTO PLASTIC SLEEVES (USA standard 8 ½” x 11”)<br />

FOR INCLUSION IN THE EXHIBITION BINDER.<br />

4. Remove all wrapping and take it with you.<br />

<strong>Artists</strong> who <strong>are</strong> out of town please mail the above with your application, submission form and fee.<br />

Mailed Deliveries:<br />

1. Submissions must arrive at the WAH Center by Monday, January 18 th <strong>2013</strong>.<br />

2. Ship your work to WAH Center Annex Office<br />

Yuko Nii, WAH Center Annex office, 344 Grand Street, #3, Brooklyn, NY 11211 USA<br />

3. The WAH Center will only accept prepaid shipments and returns from a FEDEX account.<br />

Include the above mentioned resume, statement and images along with an annual membership fee of<br />

$50, if you havenʼt paid.<br />

Installation:<br />

Tuesday, January 22 from 8 PM onward.<br />

<strong>We</strong>dnesday, January 23 from 10 AM onward.<br />

members to participate in the effort of mounting this exhibit.<br />
