OSH Actions 1. Letters detailing improvements required have been issued by the DMPs to the managers of each mortuary where this has proved necessary. 2. A follow-up audit will occur within a 3-month period. 3. If important issues are not being addressed, and the health and safety of those employed to work in that particular mortuary is at risk, then Improvement/ Prohibition Notices for certain procedures will be issued under Sections 39 and 41 of the Health and Safety in Employment Act. 4. OSH will work with the RCPA to develop a “best practice” guideline for this industry. 5.
