This season a total of 37 student athletes earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The women’s<br />
track team led the way with 80 percent of the squad meeting that mark.<br />
In fact, <strong>Southern</strong> <strong>University</strong> at <strong>New</strong> <strong>Orleans</strong> had 15 athletes earn a GPA of 3.5 or high and 4 with a 4.0<br />
for the <strong>2012</strong>-<strong>13</strong> academic year. All told, SUNO athletes posted a cumulative GPA of 2.91.<br />
