The Purpose of the Site<br />
• The <strong>Wheeling</strong> <strong>Symphony</strong> <strong>Society</strong> is passionate about providing<br />
music enrichment to West Virginia.<br />
• Designed to be unique: provides a personal experience with<br />
<strong>Wheeling</strong> <strong>Symphony</strong> musicians via audio and video clips.<br />
• To meet content objectives that are sometimes difficult for<br />
classroom teachers to meet.<br />
• A collaborative effort of various institutions, including the<br />
WSO, West Liberty State College, Ohio County Schools,<br />
Governor Joe Manchin, the WV 77th & 78th Legislatures, and<br />
the WV Division of Tourism.
