Action for children run a scheme called Sure Start. The scheme brings together childcare,
early education, health and family-support services for families with children under 5 years
old. It is the cornerstone of the government’s drive to tackle child poverty and social
exclusion working with parents-to-be, parents, carers and children to promote the physical,
intellectual and social development of babies and young children so that they can flourish at
home and when they get to school.
The Sure Start scheme brings together service providers from the statutory sector like

£2.75 a game off peak for adults, £3.50 a game peak time and £1.95 a game off peak for
under 16’s, £1.95 a game off peak for students or £1.80 for over 55’s. You need to contact

There are three different sessions available at the centre, a Saver session, off peak sessions
and a Peak session.
Saver session – from Monday to Friday 10.00am to 6.00pm (excludes school holidays and
bank holiday). It costs £3.65 for adults a game and £2.80 for juniors a game. There is also
Munch and Bowl session (which includes 2 games and a meal) cost is £9.99 for adults and
£7.99 for juniors.
Off Peak session – from Sunday to Thursday from 6.00pm until closing. It costs £4.70 for
