Adidas was looking to refresh its
working space in Gurgaon, India and
appointed project managers Jones
Lang LaSalle and architects Via Design
to conceptualise, design and build a
first class facility reflecting worldwide
repute of the Adidas brand.

Haworth worked together with Via Design
and Jones Lang LaSalle to conceptualise and
create an office interior suited to the open
workspace concept Adidas had decided on
for its new working environment. Adidas’
design brief aimed to create a new workspace
centred around an open, collaborative
working concept oriented towards a teambased
workstyle, to convey the corporate
culture of the sporting company and the
Adidas brand personality.
Haworth Solutions for the
Adidas Workspace
In accordance with the theme of an open
working environment, the AllWays system
was configured throughout the central staff
work-zone; AllWays’ high adaptability would
facilitate a flexible, open desking orientation
that Adidas employees were accustomed to,
while allowing for constant reconfigurations
according to business change requirements.
Haworth specially engineered the AllWays
workstations to incorporate tailored partition
glass-screens in the signature colours of
orange, lime green and blue. Sage task chairs
were paired with all workstations. To further
enhance freedom and mobility for Adidas’
team leaders, Space Enablers Slide and Eddy
– mobile, mini-adjustable workstations – were
provided to differentiate their work areas.
Within the meeting rooms, a mix of
Tutti table and the flexi-use, foldable
Planes conferencing table (with custom
markerboard) as well as the ergonomic EZ65
task chair was retrofitted, to provide users
with a functional yet stylish collaborative
space for team discussions or business
engagements. And in the managerial cabins,
the FS desk and Zody task seating with
headrest were furnished to give functional
comfort to executive users.
Haworth’s customised solutions for Adidas’
Gurgaon office fulfilled the design mission to
create a working environment that enhances
team collaboration as well as an open, flexible
workstyle for all employees. At the same time,
the mix of Haworth solutions is based upon
a unique combination of vibrant colours
exuding a fresh, energised feel to the entire
Adidas workspace wherein boundless energy
flows constantly – attributes reminiscent of
the world renowned sporting products &
sportswear giant.
