The gearbox of Kverneland Taarup 8000
series is a strong and reliable construction,
and is not fitted to the main frame.
This ensures that no load will be transmitted
by the gearbox. The gearbox is fully
enclosed and sealed from dust and abrasive
wear, to provide a long working life.
The tedders also have double bearing on
both sides of the drive shaft.
The ProLine gear box
The gearbox of the high performance
tedders requires no maintenance, and is
situated in an enclosed oil bath, set up to
ensure constant lubrication. Compared to
open gearboxes - where loss of lubrication
increases at the end of each service interval,
the wear and tear of the high performance
tedders is kept at a constantly
low level. Kverneland Taarup compact
tedders offer easy-to-maintain rotors with
only one grease nipple.

The box type frame of the Kverneland Taarup
8000 series is an extremely solid construction.
It is composed of two U-sections fitted
into each other and securely welded together.
The frame is totally enclosed at the top for
maximum strength.
An additional cross carrier, and the strong
linkage point of the outer rotors, allow high
transport speed without any risks of damage.
All tedders have greasable pivoting points
with an extra large diameter, making it a
very strong and reliable construction.
