RECREATION GROUND
In partnership with Selsey Town Council, consideration
is being given to what other uses
the recreation ground can be profitably put.
Perhaps to improve it as a sports facility as
part of the Olympic legacy.

TRIATHLON
There is to be a childrens charity triathlon in
Selsey on the morning of Sept 4th, involving
swimming, cycling and running. It will raise
considerable money for childrens’ charities
including hospices. We need lots of helpers!

BUILDING
The plans for the new football, cricket and
community clubhouse are being revamped in the
light of the changed economic climate. But we
are pushing ahead with developing the clubs.

Selsey Seals Football Club has applied for
charter standard development club status from
Sussex FA. Along with Selsey Football Club,
they are developing an improved coaching
structure under the guidance of Ian Martin.
Thanks to Seal Primary School for the use
of their pitches on Sundays and Manhood
Community College for the use of the rugby
field

Selsey Football Club run 3 senior sides and
are upgrading their ground at present with a
new family stand and perimeter fencing.

Selsey Cricket Club run 3 senior sides and
an under 15 colts side. This season they are
starting several new teams including:
Under 10 team for girls and boys, meeting on
Tuesdays at 5pm at the Manhood Community
College sports hall.
Under 12 team for girls and boys, meeting on
Tuesdays at 6.30pm at the Manhood
Community College sports hall.
