Talks have been specifically designed for KS3, 4 & 5.<br />

If you have a group of 30 or more students and wish to book a talk, this can be arranged for an extra charge.<br />

Talks are subject to availability and we advise that you book early as they tend to be booked up to three months in advance.<br />

Please note that groups who don’t book in advance or who fall below 15 people will not qualify<br />

for group benefits eg free places, meal vouchers and discounted admission, and standard admission<br />

prices will apply.<br />

Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge<br />

<strong>Cadbury</strong> <strong>World</strong> was one of the first<br />

organisations to be awarded the Quality Badge<br />

and engages in an ongoing process to sustain<br />

high quality learning outside the classroom.<br />

Workbooks are available to download from cadburyworld.co.uk<br />

suitable for KS3, 4 and 5. These should be downloaded and<br />

photocopied before your visit to help add value to your students’<br />

tour (please note that they are not available at <strong>Cadbury</strong> <strong>World</strong>).<br />

Please note<br />

• We are not able to invoice you for your visit. Payment in full<br />

is due on arrival and should be made by the teacher before the<br />

group leaves the coach.<br />

• <strong>Cadbury</strong> <strong>World</strong> is not a tour of the factory.<br />

• For the comfort and safety of wheelchair users we recommend<br />

that organisers notify the reservations office of the number<br />

of wheelchairs expected in their group, and seek advice on<br />

avoiding busy times.<br />

• Concessions for adults accompanying school, college and<br />

youth groups are given on the understanding that children are<br />

fully supervised at all times on the <strong>Cadbury</strong> <strong>World</strong> site.<br />

• We cannot guarantee the Packaging Plant will be working at<br />

any particular time.<br />

Study Sessions for smaller groups<br />

KS4 & 5 only<br />

• These sessions are for groups bringing less than 30 students.<br />

• Sessions commence promptly at 11.15am finishing at 12.15pm.<br />

• See calendar for the dates of the study sessions.<br />

• There may be more than one school group in attendance in the session.<br />

• The session will cover the bullet points listed on the table overleaf.<br />

• An average visit lasts around three hours including refreshments<br />

and shopping time. Please allow an extra hour for a talk.<br />

• Adjacent to the first set of stairs and pushchair park there<br />

is lift access to Cadabra and part of the Packaging Plant area.<br />

• Assistance dogs are allowed in <strong>Cadbury</strong> <strong>World</strong>, except in the<br />

Chocolate Making, Packaging Plant and Essence zones where a<br />

dog-sitting service is available.<br />

• A group is defined as 15 or more paying visitors.<br />

• Groups larger than 60 people may be divided into smaller<br />

groups in order to accommodate them in the exhibition at<br />

timed intervals.<br />

• One coach driver receives free admission and<br />

one meal voucher.<br />

• We cannot store packed lunches brought<br />

into <strong>Cadbury</strong> <strong>World</strong>.<br />
