Comparison Our Three One Hand Typing Instruction Systems 

One Hand Typing & Keyboarding Manuals on CD: has lessons and tests, all taught by using 

fields on the computer screen in which to type the easy one-hand typing drills. It comes on a 

CD, which includes many things in addition to the three versions of the one-hand typing emanuals: 

a motivational book for one handed children and adults; a video of Jim Abbott, the 

famous pitcher who only had one hand, giving a keynote speech; and resources. It is not 

interactive, as the software is, but can be used on Macs and PCs, and can be purchased by mail 

or phone. 

Software: is interactive. It tells the user when they make a mistake. It has interactive touch 

typing games, lessons, and tests, all for the one hand typist. For the PC only. It can only be 

purchased with a PO through another company. If you wish to order our keyboards or printed 

manuals, you need to use 2 purchase orders. It can be purchased as a CD, or downloaded and 

burned onto a CD, but it can only be installed on one computer at a time. 

Printed Manual: is comb-bound book and can be used any where, with all equipment. It is a 

book that sits beside the computer or typewriter. It is an excellent tool for a teacher or parent. 

Comparison: Keyboards 

The childsize keyboard is for one and two handed children, 13 and under. 

To see if you already have a keyboard with a childsize hand span, measure from the middle of 

the Q key to the middle of P key. Adult sized keyboards and laptops are all 6 ¾ inches. 

Childsize keyboards hand spans are 5 ½ inches. 

The compact keyboard is for adults only: 

From the Q key to the middle of P key is 6 ¾ inches, the same as a normal keyboard and a 

laptop. 

NOTE: Adult one-handed typists do NOT need a special keyboard.

Can you use it? 

Most new computers come with Bluetooth already installed and activated, but 

if you have an older model or a desktop without Bluetooth, you can easily
