Greater Worcester Community Foundation awards
cash grants to nonprofit organizations that serve the Central
Massachusetts communities in the areas of arts and culture,
community development, education, environment, health,
and human services.
Each year, the Foundation awards more than $2 million
in discretionary and committee-advised grants through
a competitive process. Ranging in size from $250 to more
than $30,000, these grants support programs, operations,
and organizational improvements. Our web site has details

More than 90 named funds are designated for scholarships to
college-bound residents of Central Massachusetts. Each year,
the Foundation awards more than $500,000 in scholarships
that vary from $250 to more than $6,000. Candidates
submit just one application (available on our web site) to be
considered for all scholarships that suit their qualifications.
We accept applications throughout February and March.
