<strong>Strike</strong> <strong>Out</strong> <strong>Child</strong> <strong>Abuse</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>Super</strong> <strong>Bowl</strong> fundraiser<br />

FLORENCE, KY. July 15, 2011. On August 27, <strong>Super</strong> <strong>Bowl</strong>, 510 Commonwealth Avenue,<br />

<strong>Erlanger</strong>, <strong>Ky</strong>., will host a fundraiser with the Northern Kentucky <strong>Child</strong>ren’s Advocacy Center<br />

(NKCAC) from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. Tickets for the fundraiser are $15 for adults and $10 for<br />

children, age 12 and under. A ticket <strong>in</strong>cludes 2 ½ hours of bowl<strong>in</strong>g, bowl<strong>in</strong>g shoes, food and a<br />

door prize ticket. The night will <strong>in</strong>clude raffle baskets, split the pot raffles, music and food from<br />

local restaurants. Music and enterta<strong>in</strong>ment for the afternoon will be don<strong>at</strong>ed by Q102.<br />

Each lane will hold 4-5 bowlers and prizes will be given to the child and adult with the<br />

highest/lowest scores and the most strikes. All proceeds from the event will help victims of child<br />

abuse.<br />

About the Northern Kentucky <strong>Child</strong>ren’s Advocacy Center<br />

The Northern Kentucky <strong>Child</strong>ren’s Advocacy Center is a nonprofit organiz<strong>at</strong>ion th<strong>at</strong><br />

provides services to children th<strong>at</strong> have been sexually abused, severely physically abused and<br />

children who have witnessed violent crimes. In addition, the NKCAC provides supportive<br />

services for non-offend<strong>in</strong>g parents, caregivers, sibl<strong>in</strong>gs, family members and professionals.<br />

Our multidiscipl<strong>in</strong>ary team <strong>in</strong>cludes social workers, law enforcement, prosecutors, therapists,<br />

advoc<strong>at</strong>es and health care providers. Our child-focused, welcom<strong>in</strong>g environment ensures th<strong>at</strong><br />

children are protected and th<strong>at</strong> children and the non-offend<strong>in</strong>g adults who care for them can<br />

beg<strong>in</strong> to heal. The Community Found<strong>at</strong>ion of Northern Kentucky provides adm<strong>in</strong>istr<strong>at</strong>ive and<br />

oper<strong>at</strong>ional support to the NKCAC.<br />

As the design<strong>at</strong>ed regional children's advocacy center, we serve Boone, Campbell, Carroll,<br />
