Tools and implements in salons and beauty parlors are easily contaminated with germs, viruses, fungi, and other pathogenic microorganism. If
these instruments are not decontaminated and cleaned before using it again, the direct contact with the skin, body fluids, and blood will transmit
diseases from one customer to another.
ONLY a disinfectant like STERIGUARD effectively fights such contamination.
Direction of Use:
Before cleaning tools and implements, always wear disposable gloves.
Thoroughly clean the brushes, combs, clipper blades, shears, razors, and other inanimate hard-surfaced non porous tools and implements prior
to complete immersion for 10 minutes ( or as required by local authorities) in a solution prepared as directed:
To prepare a proper disinfectant: Mix 75ml. Of STERIGUARD in 750ml. Of water. To enable all the tools, implements, to be completely
submerged into the solution, TALL STERILAZATION jars are to be used for the preparation of STERIGUARD.
Rinse again to remove the STERIGUARD after immersion and dry before use.
Prepared STERIGUARD solution should be used immediately. Do not leave the prepared solution unused for a length of time. Do not reuse the
solution. Always prepare a FRESH solution.
PRECAUTIONS
STERIGUARD is a high grade disinfectant for professional use only and therefore shall be handled with great care.
Always keep it out of reach of children and amateurs.
Ensure that STERIGUARD do not come into direct contact with skin or body parts, because of its corrosive nature.
STERIGUARD may cause irreversible damage to eyes and also can cause skin burns. Therefore sufficient care has to be taken to avoid
STERIGUARD coming into direct contact with eyes or skin. Always protect eyes and use rubber gloves and protective clothing when handling
STERIGUARD and wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
STERIGUARD is harmful if swallowed and never take it near food.
In case of spilling use long-handled mops for cleaning.
STORAGE
Store STERIGUARD at a safe place, preferably not at a height. Store in a cool and ventilated place and do not expose it to direct sunlight and
excessive temperature.
DISPOSING USED STERIGUARD SOLUTION
Never reuse STERIGUARD empty container and always dispose used STERIGUARD solution in to proper drainage systems. Also never reuse
STERIGUARD solution for any purpose. Remember that used STERIGUARD solution may carry pathogens.
EVALUATIONS
The success of STERIGUARD solution for decontamination and cleaning of salon and beauty parlor tools and implements were evaluated after
immersing the tools and implements for 10 minutes in the rightly prepared STERIGUARD solution as per the directions of use. STERIGUARD
is found effective against HIV-1 (AIDS Virus), Hepatitis B Virus, Hepatitis C Virus, Pseudomonas, Salmonella Cholreae-suis, Herpes virus 1& 2,
and Staphylococcus Aureus.
DANGER: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. CORROSIVE. CAUSES IRREVERSIBLE EYE DAMAGE AND SKIN BURNS. DO NOT GET IN EYES.
ON SKIN OR ON CLOTHING. HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. AVOID CONTAMINATION OF FOOD. WEAR EYE PROTECTION, PROTECTIVE
CLOTHING, AND RUBBER GLOVES WHEN HANDLING. WASH THOROUGHLY WITH SOAP AND WATER AFTER HANDLING. REMOVE
CONTAMINATED CLOTHING AND WASH BEFORE REUSE.
