second of Margaret Truman's recordings and distinctly the rarer of the two. It was issued
between April and July of 1952 and was deleted in November of the following year. And
unlike the earlier issue (LM-57), I don't believe there was a 45-rpm edition, so this disc is
all there was. For those who have not heard the scandalous thrice-familiar story, Harry
Truman was widely quoted as wanting to punch critic Paul Hume in the face after he gave
Margaret a poor review, which she may well have deserved... Quite apart from Truman,
