second of Margaret Truman's recordings and distinctly the rarer of the two. It was issued<br />

between April and July of 1952 and was deleted in November of the following year. And<br />

unlike the earlier issue (LM-57), I don't believe there was a 45-rpm edition, so this disc is<br />

all there was. For those who have not heard the scandalous thrice-familiar story, Harry<br />

Truman was widely quoted as wanting to punch critic Paul Hume in the face after he gave<br />

Margaret a poor review, which she may well have deserved... Quite apart from Truman,<br />
