Lecturer, Dept. of CSE, R.V. College of Engg. (Aug '09 – Dec '09 )
Theory courses taught included C programming and, Probability and Statistics.
Labs for C programming, microprocessors and system software were handled.
Exact Algorithms for Domination in Chordal Graphs (June '08 – Apr '09)
The work involved survey of the literature in the area of exact algorithms with
focus on the Minimum Dominating Set (MDS) problem for chordal graphs. An
algorithm that solves MDS on chordal graphs in time O(1.4656 n ) was developed.
E-Sign Workflow Management System (Aug – Dec '07)
Carried out as part of the S/w Engineering course, it automated flow of application
forms. In addition the forms are digitally signed by the submitter and approver.
Lecturer, Dept. of Information and Communication Technology (I & CT),
MIT, Manipal (Sept '05 – June '07 )
Theory courses taught include Computer Organization, Software Engg. and VC++.
Labs for C, C++ Programming, Data Structures and Linux were handled.
NEO nPoint Migration ( Sept – Oct '04 )
nPoint is a content management tool developed at Honeywell. The New Employee
Orientation ( NEO ) site is a website that helps orient a new joinee. The project
involved migrating the entire site to the framework of nPoint.
Honeywell Left Menu Project ( July – Sept '04 )
This project involved changing the entire look and feel of the Honeywell intranet
sites and aimed at bringing a common standard across all of them.
Digital Forms ( July – Dec '03 and Nov '04 – Mar '05)
Digital Forms is a workflow management tool developed at Honeywell. I designed
an Escalation module, a means by which forms are processed automatically if an
approver does not process the form within stipulated time.
In the latter half two projects were completed - ‘Travel Request Form’ and ‘HR
Applications’, which involved a set of forms to control access to certain
applications. I was involved in configuring the form, providing features for the
administrator to modify the form elements and reports for the user in the former
and developing the reporting system in the latter.
Algorithmic Study of Rectangular Drawings ( Jan – Apr '04 )
This was a study of rectangular drawings along with efficient algorithms to obtain
the same. Also dealt was the problem of isomorphism. An algorithm for checking
isomorphism, that relies on pruning unprofitable paths by lexical ordering of
permutations, was developed.
