Teachers Council of Thailand,
Ministry of Education visit and
meet with the STIC management
team which is led by STIC Council’s
Vice Chairperson Dr Theresa
Virachanee Phromsuntorn.
The visitors were including Assoc Prof Dr Kanit Kiewvichai, Assist Prof Dr Nittaya Kantawong,
Ms Kannikar Baramee, and Ms Pattrawajee Theerakeerayut from the Teachers Council
met and discussed with the STIC management and then interviewed with some students
at the Maria Theresa Meeting Room before they were on the inspection tours to the campus’s
facilities on April 22, 2014.
Joint training course on Air Traffic Control
St Theresa International College
(STIC)’s management
team met with the executive
committee of the Civil Aviation
Training Center for further
talk, discussion and seeking cooperation
on Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) agreement.
The MoU will also cover
a joint training course to be organized
on Intensive Air Traffic
Control for new STIC students
in Air Traffic Control by the two
institutions. The recent meeting
was held on April 18, 2014
at the Center’s Meeting Room.
International Conference in Vietnam
Prof. Dr. Rosario P. Alberto, Dean of Graduate School, St
Theresa International College, Thailand presented a research
paper co-authored by Dr. Sunny Gabinete, Dean,
College of Education, Iloilo University, Philippines at the
7th International Conference on Educational Reform
2014(ICER 2014) held in H ng Giang Hotel, Hue, Vietnam
on March 15-16, 2014.
The conference theme is “Innovations and Good Practices
in Education: Global Perspectives”.

Miss Songkran 2014 beauty contest winners!!
The St Theresa International College (STIC) management team is seen posing for the photo
session with Miss Songkran beauty contest winners during the STIC Songkran Festival 2014
held on April 10, 2014 at STIC Fairgrounds (the lawn behind the STIC Administrative Building).
Later on, Miss Songkran beauty contest winners were publicly announced, as the following
Miss Songkran winner was Kullanit Phongpanpanit (No 4), the first-runner- up was Miss Jilla
Watthana Aungkul (No 2) , and the second-runner up was Miss Rawiwan Jeadtapongpakde
(No 3).
Meanwhile, the honorable prizes went to Miss Pawanrat Surapee (No 1), Miss Sunisa Thongsou
(No 5) and Miss Kornkanok Boonpong (No 6) respectively.

STIC Workshop on Strategic and Operational Plans

Policy and Planning held the
workshop on Strategic Plan
and Operation Plan for the Academic
Year 2014 for the First
Phase on April 8, 2014 at
Maria Theresa Meeting Room.
The participants reviewed and
discussed the vision, strategy,
indicator, goal and target of
the work plan.
The Phase 2 of this workshop will be held on April 29, 2014 focusing on planning for the Academic
Year 2014 for each department, faculty, and office so as to be consistent with strategic
plan and outcomes in 2013.
Attending the workshop here were Dr Piyada Wattanasan, President, Dr Chaipat Wattanasan,
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ajarn Suwat Benjathammathorn, Vice President for Administrative
Affairs, directors, heads of department and working staff.
Freshmen’s activity
The Faculty of Business Administration, St Theresa International College on April 2, 2014
held the workshop for its new 400 students on “E-Learning and IT” which was presented by
Faculty Dean Dr Chaipat Wattanasan, and on Learning Plan and Time Management which
was presented by Deputy Dean Ajarn Vanee Photinakhon. This afternoon activity was organized
by the Faculty’s Academic Department for them so that the new students could get
acquainted with these topics.

Faculty Orientation
The Faculty of Business Administration organized the Orientation Day for its new students
on March 24, 2014 at the Joseph Marie Building. Ajarn Vanee Photinakorn, Deputy Dean of
the Faculty delivered the welcoming remarks and also gave a talk on the qualifications of desirable
student‘s behaviors and desirable graduates, student‘s life in the campus, and a success
in the study. Lastly, Dr Chaipat Wattanasan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dean
of the Faculty of Business Administration presided the closing ceremony.
Orientation 2014
St Theresa International College organized the Orientation
Day for new students on March 24, 2014 at
its Joseph Marie Building. Dr Theresa Virachanee
Phromsuntorn, Vice Chairperson of the College
Council graciously presided over the Opening Ceremony
while President Dr Piyada Wattanasan delivered
her welcoming remarks to the audiences.

Graduation Day and Farewell Ceremony for Nursing Students , Batch 4
St Theresa International College ‘s Faculty of Nursing Science organized the Achievement
Certificate presentation and Farewell ceremony at the Joseph Marie Auditorium on March 7,
2014. The ceremony was held for the 96 new graduate students this year.

on March 7, 2014.
The Award of Honour in Nursing Science for Ms Warddeeyah
Ms Wardeeyah Damaeng, the most outstanding student
in Nursing Science, Batch 4 is seen receiving the award of
honour from Dr Theresa Virachanee Promsuntorn, Vice
Chairperson of St Theresa International College during
the Graduation Day ceremony held on March 7, 2014 at
Joseph Marie Auditorium.
Wardeeyah, nicked name “Yah”, 25, is one of the 96 new
graduate students in the field of Nursing Science from St
Theresa International College this March, 2014. She finished
the Bachelor Degree in Nursing Science with the
Grade Point Average of 3.62.
Ms Ratchadaporn
Ms Ratchadaporn Sangeunsak, 22 or "Nong Pad" is a new
graduate student in the field of Nursing Science from St
Theresa International College this March, 2014. She tells
her story about life, education and her near future in an
interview with STIC NEWS.
