WHAT IS
“SHAHDAG”?
Shahdag is a Mountain Resort
located 32 km from the center of
Gusar, surrounded by the Shahdag
national park, and 212 km from Baku,
the capital of Azerbaijan.
You will find facilities and services
such as: 5hotels with more than 600
rooms which are located within the
ski resort. Our guests will find state
of the art facilities and services such
as:
A medical center, a ski and
snowboard school, an outdoor
activities center, ski rental, café
restaurants, spa, gyms, lockers and
much more.
Shahdag all-year resort will
provide visitors with a whole world
of adventure activities during both
winter and summer.

SUMMER
SPORTS
For the Summer season we are
delighted to offer a wide range of
activities to suit all ages, from an
Adventure Park, to inflatable castles
and quads bikes to Nordic walking
and even Orienteering.
All located close to Zirve, our brand
new, 4 star, lift base hotel.

ADVENTURE PARK
Harness up and get ready to explore. Our
adventure parked has been designed for all
ages to enjoy.
Climb up ropes, swing across bridges and test
your nerve on a high wire or two. This is a
great activity for the whole family to enjoy.
We provide safety equipment including
helments which must be worn at all times and
our supervisors will be on hand to help guide
you.
BOB KART
Hoisted by the ski-lifts you
can enjoy the speed of our
slopes, with different circuits
available depending on your
riding skills.
CHILDREN’S
QUADS
Children will be able to
enjoy quad biking just like
adults with these mini
quad bikes.
After a short but
thorough briefing it will be
helmets on, engines at full
throttle and away they go
around this special track.
Built with inflatable walls
for added protection
children will be under the
supervision of our staff at
all times.

BOUNCY
CASTLE
Hours of fun for the
younger members of the
family to enjoy in a relaxed
supervised area.
This is a great environment
where children can have fun
and make new friends all
under the supervision of our
trained staff, whilst the
adults enjoy time on the
s l o p e s o r t a k e a n a l l
important trip to the Spa for
a treatment or two.
We have 3 bouncy castles
on available to varying ages
up to 12 years old.
NORDIC
WALKING
Led by a local guide
the whole family can
enjoy the outstanding
natural beauty of the
Shahdag mountain
region.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Families will be able to enjoy our wonderful
scenery on either our cross-country or downhill
circuits, with different levels of difficulty, from
easy to more challenging, to suit every type of
rider.

ORIENTATION
Orientation is an activity where people must complete an itinerary
using a compass and a map. After a training session to get to know how
to use the equipment, clients will have to walk to each of the
checkpoints and complete the itinerary. There are several itineraries
suitable for all kinds of people.
PAINTBALL
There are many different formats to
experience, always under the expert guidance
of our staff. Paintball is especially popular for
companies on ‘team-building’ days.
SEGWAY
Segways are 2 wheeled, self-balancing,
electric vehicles and are a great fun way of
getting around.
Fitted with rugged tires to help you traverse
over the hills at ease.
We have a number of supervised trails for you to
choose from and our local guides will be able to take
you high up into the mountains for breath taking
views of the resort.
Before embarking on the tour our instructors will talk
you through how to operate the vehicles and go through
a safety briefing with you.
Helmets will be supplied and must be warn at all times.

TROTINETTES
Different circuits are available for different skill levels and
you take the ski-lifts to collect your scooters.
MOUNTAIN TOURS
Take a mountain tour with one of our tour guides and discover
the hidden beauties of the mountains.
We have a wide range of tours available for beginners to those
that have a more advanced fitness level. We can even book a
private tour if you would prefer a private tour with your friends
and family.
Our local guides will show you the hidden treasures of the
mountains as your adventure unfolds.

ZIP LINING
Why not combine the

This incredible heart
pounding thrill ride will start
with a safety briefing before
you embark on the climb up
to the platform high above
the resort. Stepping of the
platform you will descend
across the hillside with
incredible views across the
resort and surrounding
areas.
Not for the faint hearted
you will travel at speeds of
up to 45mph from one end
of the line to the other at
approximately 300ft up.
Safety equipment will be
provided and you will be
under supervision at all
times.

WINTER
SPORTS
With no less than 19 ski slopes planned,
suitable for a wide range of experience levels,
the Shahdag Mountain Resort presents worldclass
skiing at a breathtaking 2500 metres
above sea level. The Resort’s own ski school
offers experienced private instructors for
beginners as well as advanced skiers.
In addition to skiing, the slopes also provide
exciting opportunities for snowboarding and
snow mobiling. Other winter activities,
especially suited for young children, include
quad biking and bouncy castles and snow
tubing. Additionally, the Resort’s Spa will
provide a refreshing break from the snow and
ice.

SKIING
Whether you are new to the
slopes or an experienced skier
we have everything you need
all ready for you.
We have a brand new ski
centre with all the latest
equiment for you to buy or
hire and friendly staff on hand
to help advise you.
Beginners ski school for
those of you just starting out
and instructors and guides for
those of you that are a little
more advanced but want a bit
of a refresher.
19 ski slopes are avaialble
throughout the season due to
the latest snow machine
technology and we have state
of the art lifts and gondolas to
take you to the top of the
slopes.
Helmets are advised to be
worn at all times.
SNOWMOBILE
TOURS (SOON)

Our local tour guides will be able to
talk you through the safety briefing
and how to handle these powerful
machines so that you get all the fun
and adrenaline you need.
The tours will take you high up into

dissapointment!
Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times.
TRIPS
For something completely
different climb aboard one of our
heated snow grooming machines
and experience first hand how we
perfectly sculpt our slopes ready for
you to enjoy.
We will take you to the top of the
slopes where you will experience breath
taking views across the slopes whilst
seeing our experts at work.
Due to the size of the machines these tours
are for small groups so book early to avoid
disappointment.
