VOLUNTEERS<br />
Thank you <strong>2012</strong> volunteers!<br />
olunteers are truly at the heart of<br />
<strong>Livingston</strong>’s mission. An all-volunteer Board<br />
of Directors oversees the leadership and fiscal<br />
health of the agency. A volunteer Professional Advisory<br />
Board reviews and has oversight of <strong>Livingston</strong>’s medical<br />
care policies and procedures. Our volunteer Community<br />
Advisors assist our Board of Director’s committees and offer<br />
professional expertise and community support. In addition,<br />
<strong>Livingston</strong> has many volunteers that give of their time<br />
supporting <strong>Livingston</strong>’s departments and programs.<br />
This past year <strong>Livingston</strong>’s Hospice Volunteer Training<br />
Program graduated 15 new volunteers who bring to<br />
the <strong>Livingston</strong> family an artist, a poet, a vocalist in a<br />
barber shop quartet, a Reiki practitioner and an autistic<br />
youth teacher in addition to many other talented<br />
passionate heroes. It is the dedication, talents and gifts<br />
of these volunteers who make Ventura County a more<br />
compassionate and caring place to live.<br />
