ST. HELEN’S SCHOOL
We would like to inform you besides getting occupancy for the
new wing we also made upgrades to our present facilities such as:
• We replaced all of the light fixtures in the gym
• The gym floor was re finished.
• All classroom feature walls were painted the same color as
the new wing to make both building compatible
• Some furnishings were replaced to provide students and
teachers with a better learning environment.
Again, thank you to all volunteers and members of the community
who helped with the above projects. Landscaping and relocation
of the fire hydrant will be done by the end of this month.
St. Helen's School Ridesharing
The purpose of this website is to help match together parents who are driving their children to St. Helen's
School. Carpooling will reduce the number of vehicles converging on the school and thereby increase safety
for everyone while reducing pollutants and greenhouse gasses.

PARKING, DROP OFF AND PICK UP AREA
New west wing procedures - students will be entering from both doors, Pandora St. and the drop off area in
the church parking lot. This applies to grade 6 and 7 students and their siblings.
Students from Kindergarten to Grade 5—the drop off area is the west side of the church and Ingleton St.
I would highly encourage parents to carpool, if possible, see the link above or walk or bike students to school.

Congratulations to Tristan Torresan whose
team represented Canada in the World
Youth Soccer Tournament in Warsaw, Poland.
Congratualtions to Steven Moretto
and Matteo Porcellato whose team also
represented Canada in the Little League
Championships in the U.S.A.
