Welcome May! If April showers bring May flowers, we are in for a beautiful month! It’s hard to believe, but our school
year is coming to a close. Our little white bus has driven many miles, taking us to so many interesting places. The
children have learned so much from their hands-on experiences. It has been a wonderful year for us, and we hope you and
your child had an enjoyable experience as well.
What We Will Be Doing in May
May is our last full month of Enrichment, and we have packed it with wonderful things to do. June 7 is our last day.
Please save the date of Friday, May 10 for a Mother’s Day Tea Party, at 1:30 p.m. If you are unable to attend, please
pass on the invitation to a grandma, an aunt or a female friend (no siblings), as we are doing a special project.
The class will be finishing up our Alphabet Books, and our last unit of study will center around our solar system.
We have several outdoor field trips planned, so we are hoping for sunny skies and warmer weather. If the weather is
inclement, our outdoor trips may be changed to an indoor activity at another facility.

Friday, May 10 - Mother’s Day Tea Party, 1:30 p.m.
Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day) - No School and No Enrichment.
Friday, June 7 - Last Day of Enrichment.
