Audio/Video Codec Offline Analyzer
Designed to analyze not only video
and audio, but also containers such as
transport streams carrying video and
audio components, the AVC Analyzer
enables you to analyze media files at
both levels to easily isolate problems
related to coding, transmission, or
multiplexing.
Ideal for designers, system integrators,
and network operators, our AVC (audio/
video codec) Analyzer performs in-depth
syntax analysis and decoding for MPEG-2
video, H.264, and VC-1 files. You can use
it for a host of applications, including
standards compliance and interoperability
testing, new codec development, media
provisioning, quality assessment of
MPEG-2, H.264, and VC-1 encoded video,
and transmission troubleshooting.
The AVC Analyzer accelerates product
innovation and development cycles for
applications such as digital TV (DTV),
mobile TV, video on demand (VOD), and
Blu-ray. The success of these applications
depends on increasingly complex codecs
which are subject to a new set of A/V
standards that require a much more
advanced set of testing and verification
tools. By performing in-depth analysis of
video and associated audio elementary
streams, this analyzer is the perfect
solution for developing next-generation
video networks.
Advanced Analysis Functions
Designed to analyze not only video and
audio, but also containers, subtitles,
closed captions, and Digital Program
Insertion (local program or advertising
insertion), the AVC Analyzer enables you
to isolate and quickly identify problems
related to coding, transmission, or
multiplexing.
The AVC Analyzer lets you capture live
sessions to files. By using the broadband
recorder for IP traffic capture and the
media extractor for media stream
extraction from an IP capture file, it
can analyze audio or video streams
distributed over IP directly from your
laptop. These two powerful software
utilities come standard with the AVC
Analyzer base model.
The AVC Analyzer is available as
standalone software or can be part of the
VTS500 Video Test System.
