Brief CV of prof. Carlo Secchi (06.04.2006) Carlo Secchi is professor of European Economic Policy at Università Bocconi, Milan, of which he was Dean from 2000 to 2004. He is the Director of the Latin American and Transition Country Study Institute, Università Bocconi, and Special Advisor to the university for international activities. He was a member of the IV legislature of the European Parliament (1994-1999) and vice-chairman of the Economic and Monetary Commission. He was a member of the XXII legislature of the Senate of the Italian Republic (1994- 96). He is a member of the management bodies of technical and scientific Foundations and Institutes, including the Scientific Committee of IReR (Lombardy regional research institute). He is vice-chairman of ISPI (International policy study institute, Milan), chairman of the Italian group in the Trilateral Commission and the I-CSR (Italian foundation for the diffusion of corporate social responsibility). He is currently a member of the board of directors of several Italian companies, the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo and Fondazione Teatro alla Scala.
