Harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed.
Causes burns.
Possible risk of irreversible effects.
First Aid - Ingestion
Wash out mouth with water. Have victim drink 1-3 glasses of water to
dilute stomach contents.
First Aid - Inhalation If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial
respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Obtain medical
attention.

Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact,
immediately flush eyes with a copious amount of water for at least 15
minutes. Obtain medical attention.
In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water. Remove
contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Clean
shoes thoroughly before reuse. Obtain medical attention.
SMALL FIRE: Use DRY chemical powder.
LARGE FIRE: Use alcohol foam, water spray or fog. Cool containing
vessels with water jet in order to prevent pressure build-up, autoignition
or explosion.
Personal Precautions Splash goggles. Vapour respirator. Gloves.
Spill Keep away from heat. Keep away from sources of ignition. Stop leak if
without risk. Absorb with dry earth, sand or other noncombustible
material. Do not get water inside container. Do not touch spilled
material. Use water spray curtain to divert vapour drift. Prevent entry
into sewers, basements or confined areas; dike if needed. Call for
assistance on disposal.

and clothing.
Store at room temperature. Keep well closed and protected from direct
sunlight and moisture.
Ethanol UK EH40: WEL 1000 ppm (1920 mg/m3) 8-hr TWA.
Phenol UK EH40: WEL 2 ppm 8-hour TWA. Skin
Engineering measures
Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the
airborne concentrations of vapours below their respective occupational
exposure limits. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are
close to the workstation location.
