Commercial Proposal: 

The requirements in the department: 

As per the statics of the Government of West Bengal has more than 1,00,000 computers 

which are installed in different government departments, Educational Institutions, and 

many organization directly or indirectly funded by Government of West Bengal. 

AntiVirus, being important and useful software must be installed in evry computers. This 

helps computers in smooth and uninterrupted functioning. The eScan Software is available 

in 1 year and 3 years subscriptions but 3 year subscription will be most economical to the 

department. 

Government always buy software at multiple rates which range from Rs. 700/- to Rs. 

1000/-. The DGS&D rate contract for eScan Internet security suite is Rs. 650/ per software 

per year (All inclusive). This rate is available on DGS&D website (once it will be published). 

We or our channel partner will offer the same rates to the Government throughout the state. 

This includes following: 

1. A software CD and required number of licenses to each department. 

2. Free training on installation and how to use the software to one or group of 

departments based on number of licenses they buy. 

3. Remote support through team viewer will be provided at normal working hours. 

4. Free on line technical support 

5. Onsite support by company on critical errors free of cost. 

MRP of the products with Installati and support charges: 

The MRP of the eScan Internet Security Suite (desktop products) is Rs. 750/-+ Installation 

and supp ort charges extra. In an average this comes to around Rs. 1000-1200/- per 

software per year. 

The MRP of the eScan ISS for SMB client products are Rs. 1000/- per licenses per year + 

Installation and support charges extra. In an average this comes to around Rs. 1200-1300/- 

per licenses per year. 

Cost Saving to the Government in 1 Year and 3 Years Licenses : 

But we have decides to offer it at DGS&D rates which is Rs. 650/- out of that we will offer a 

5% ie Rs. 32/- as special commission to WEBEL on the above rate. So the actual effective 

rate will be Rs. 618/- per software/license per year all inclusive which include 10.3% 

excise and 5% CST. If government could save taxes the rate will be Rs. 534/- per license per 

year. 

If Government of West Bengal goes for 3 years subscription then eScan ISS will be available 

in Rs. 1300/- out of that we will offer a 5% i.e. Rs. 64/- as special commission to WEBEL on 

the above rate for three years. So the effective pricing will be Rs. 1236/- which include 10%

excise and 5% CST i.e. We will charge for 2 years and offer 3rd years as free. The effective 

pricing will be Rs. 412/ per year all inclusive which include 10.3% excise and 5% CST. If 

government could save taxes the rate will be Rs. 354/- per license per year.

The average saving to the Government is around 25% in one year, but if 

Government goes for 3 years the saving will be More than 48%.. Also WEBEL can 

also save an addition 15.3% on tax. So it will come around 40% on one year and 

63% on 3 year. 

Note: Being indigenous product WEBEL can avail SANVET which most of National SI’s 

are availing.

Mechanism of Technical Support 

On line Technical Support will be provided during normal office working hours. 

Virus Database is updated daily and is available on the Web Sites. 

Updates/Service Packs are readily available on MicroWorld’s web Sites 

www.escanav.com during the support tenure, free of cost. 

24 Hours Help Desk/Telephonic Support is available on all working days (excluding 

Sundays and Bank Holidays). Support after office hours is available at a nominal 

cost. 

A technical team will assist institution in installation of the software and proper utilization 

of the software.

Mr Rammurthy is a technocrat turned entrepreneur. He graduated in Computer Science in

Company Limited (TELCO) and worked with them for 3 years. He started MicroWorld

eScan provides real-time virus protection with the revolutionary MicroWorld Winsock Layer (MWL)

user's choice and the effective Pop-up Filter

eScan detects and warns about the applications

Endpoint Security prevents data thefts and virus
