everyone as soon as The Clarion is published and can be picked up.
We will still have trip sale days for the August trips at the beginning of July and September trips at the beginning

LONSDALE QUAY (Bonsor Mini bus)
This lovely summer outing will start with a visit to Lynn
Canyon to check out the nature center and see if any
brave souls would like to cross the north shore’s second
longest suspension bridge. From there it is on to
Lonsdale Quay to wander through the quaint shops
and grab a bite to eat from one of the food shops. After
dinner you will enjoy a drive up to the lookout point on
Cypress mountain before winding your way home via
the Lions Gate bridge and Stanley Park.

EXPLORE THE FRASER VALLEY

Join Joy Brown of Galiano Tours to explore some of
the sights and sounds of the Fraser Valley. You will visit
a fabulous private collection of antiques at Granny and
Grumpy’s, and learn about award winning wines at a
local winery. Wander around historic Clayburn Village
and the 1912 English Village store on your way to meet
a local potter. You will not be going into the gardens
themselves, but lunch will be at Minter Gardens with
time to visit the gift shop.

Come with us to Vanier Park to enjoy a little Shakespeare.
Bard at the Beach is an annual tradition in Vancouver
and this year the show we are heading to this
year is The Tragedy of MacBeth, the story of a man who
would be king by whatever means necessary.

WHITECAPS AND BC PLACE

BC Place stadium is the newest old stadium you can
find, newly renovated and refurbished including a
spectacular retractable roof. Come out and take in
the spectacle and beauty of the place while enjoying
a chance to watch our own Vancouver Whitecaps take
on FC Dallas as the lads continue their run for a playoff
spot in only their second season in the MLS.

CHEMAINUS AND GANGES (Mini bus)
Join Joy Brown of Galiano Tours for a visit to two vibrant
and charming towns. On Vancouver Island you will explore
Chemainus and discover that there is more to look
at than the world famous murals with some great shops
and fabulous beachfront. On quaint Saltspring Island you
will explore Vesuvius and Ganges in addition to enjoying
a delicious picnic lunch in a park overlooking the sea.

THE LPGA CANADIAN OPEN (Mini van)
All the stars of the LPGA will be on hand to contest
for the title of Canadian Open Champion on a rare
year when the championship will be held here in town.
There are only six seats available on this opportunity
to see some of the best players in the world up close
and personal as they compete for a chance to make
the cut and play on the weekend. An opportunity like
this may not come along again for some time. Vendors
and carts are available on the grounds of the course
for those who would like to grab a bite to eat.
