RM57 MILLION SUPREME TOTO 6/58 JACKPOT WIN SETS NEW RECORD IN MALAYSIA
A 70-something retiree from Selangor won a supremely huge jackpot of RM57 million
through Supreme Toto 6/58 on Wednesday, 18 January 2012.
Supreme Toto 6/58 jackpot was won twice at slightly below RM48 million each. Now, it
has not only broken its own jackpot winning record, but also created a new record for
jackpot winnings in Malaysia.
The retiree’s winning set of numbers – 2, 12, 24, 25, 32 & 33 was the brainchild of his own
diligent studies of all the numbers that have been drawn before. He said, during his
leisure time, he likes to study the trend of all the numbers that have been drawn and
then create combinations of lucky numbers to bet. He also told that he has been
spending moderate sums on numbers game as a pastime.
He said, he tried hard to calm himself upon learning that he has won the supremely huge
jackpot from a daily at noon a day after the draw. He quipped that he had to do that as
it was too huge a shock that could even trigger heart attack! He then quickly shared the
good news with one of his children who happened to date him for lunch, before
breaking the news to all his other children.
Asked about his feelings after winning the colossal jackpot, he said it was certainly a
great Chinese New Year gift and he would dedicate most of his newfound fortune for his
grandchildren’s future education needs. As for himself, he doesn’t seem to have any big
plans yet, except for saying that he would also like to help many critically ill or
desperately needy people featured through the press as well as some hardcore poor
families featured through the Helping Hands program aired on NTV7 which he chanced
to watch.
This massive jackpot win happened within days after the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 of RM 7.1
million was won by a 40-something Sabahan on 15 January.
On the sidelines, the second prize of Toto 4D Jackpot totaling RM171,042 was won on the
same draw.

Confirmation of jackpot winnings
A spokesperson from Sports Toto confirmed that only one ticket bearing the numbers 2, 12,
24, 25, 32 and 33 was drawn as the first prize of Supreme Toto 6/58 on Wednesday, 18
January 2012 (Draw No. 3644/12) for a total sum of RM57,180,495.98. On the same draw,
the second prize (Jackpot 2) of Toto 4D Jackpot for a total sum of RM171,042.30 was won.
