1804, upon which he defined and named Australia, obtained from the Hydrographic Office in Somerset, 

England and received by the Governor from Martha, Rachel and Susannah, three great-great-great 

granddaughters of Flinders, in London on 2 April 2004, to the Parliament of New South Wales in a

Her Excellency the Governor officially opened “The Shed”, a drop-in centre for men at risk of suicide 

in Western Sydney, being a partnership between the Holy Family Centre, Emerton and the Men’s Health 

Information and Resource Centre, University of Western Sydney, and later planted a tree with Mrs 

Frances Bulluss, a mother of Mount Druitt, as a symbol of hope and inspiration for the future.
