Moreover, it contains the members’ self representations. Therefore its analys<strong>is</strong> allows<br />

studying the forms by which member construct and represent their own reality.<br />

Admittedly, even video <strong>is</strong> not able to produce genuine copies of that practice in all its<br />

details; though that <strong>is</strong> not the aim at all. Rather, these recordings provide insights<br />

selected by the members themselves. Hence, auto-ethnographic video data <strong>is</strong> a<br />

privileged resource which can provide access to the mediated ›ethnotheory‹ of<br />

members, whose reconstruction <strong>is</strong> one of the ongoing tasks of focussed<br />

ethnography.<br />
