In an interview with the Huntsville Times, he stated, <br />

“What isn’t given nearly as much aCenDon is the fact that <br />

there were many black people who were quite <br />

accomplished and who were quite heroic in their own way. <br />

Our concentraDon is going to be on ordinary people who <br />

lived during extraordinary Dmes.”
