PROJECT BACKGROUND<br />
This was the largest implosion ever performed in <strong>Chicago</strong>. Six buildings, located on the<br />
city’s southeast side, were imploded in a matter of seconds. The project was completed<br />
without a single incident of property damage or injury.<br />
SCOPE OF WORK<br />
Designed and implemented a site-wide asbestos abatement plan<br />
Protected surrounding structures including adjacent commuter railroad tracks, an<br />
elementary school between two of the buildings, and a high rise senior citizen building<br />
Recycled over 30,000 cubic yards of brick and concrete<br />
