Partnerships:
Children do best when everyone around them is supportive, works
together and has similar goals. We encourage parents and carers to
talk to teachers, visit the school for open classrooms and to become
involved in topic work. We provide regular information evenings
and information leaflets to support and consolidate home learning.
We also want to hear from you about what your child is interested in
and how they are engaging with their learning at home. We aim to
develop strong partnerships based on mutual respect.
Parent quote:
“The approach to homework is excellent and tasks are well targeted
to the age and ability of my child” Parent quotes from a recent parent survey.
Behaviour and Safety:
We have high standards of pupil behaviour. Our golden rules give
the children a clear code of expectations.
Our golden rules are:
– We are gentle – We are honest
– We are kind and helpful – We work hard
– We listen – We look after property
Our school is committed to providing a safe environment for children
to learn in and has robust safeguarding procedures. We have a
well-equipped and recently refurbished school with a securely
fenced perimeter. We operate a buzzer system for entry and have
a rigorous system for collection that aims to ensure safety and
security for all children at all times.
Ofsted quote:
“Pupils’ healthy eating and exceptionally high participation in sports
and physical activities reflect, in many cases, exemplary healthy
lifestyles”
