for Best Actor for his performances in
three films of 2009—the coming-of-age
film Wake Up Sid, the comedy Ajab Prem Ki
Ghazab Kahani, and the drama Rocket Singh:
Salesman of the Year. He won two consecutive
Best Actor awards at Filmfare for portraying
a troubled musician in the drama Rockstar
(2011) and a deaf-mute guy in the comedydrama
Barfi! (2012).

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), one of
the highest-grossing Bollywood films, he
established him as a leading Bollywood actor.
He has the highest success rate in Bollywood
among the current actors and the interesting
thing is he has not released a movie in 2014.
His recent movie Roy with Arjun Rampal
happened to be a disaster and he is gearing
up for his next film Bombay Velvet which
will release on May 15th this year. Critically
acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap directed
the movie and Anushka Sharma played the
female lead in the film. The recently released
trailer has been receiving wide applause all
over and increased the heat over the movie.
Apart from this he has recently wrapped up
the shoot of his next movie Jagga Jasoos with
Katrina Kaif in the direction of Anurag Basu
who directed Ranbir in Barfi. The film has
been slated for release on November 27th
2015. His friend and close aid Imtiaz Ali is
directing Ranbir in Tamasha with Deepika
Padukone in the female which will release
in 2016. Along with these, Ranbir has many
more films in pipeline which includes the
biography of Sanjay Dutt and an untitled
movie with Ayan Mukherjee.
In addition to acting in films, Kapoor supports
charities and causes. He is the co-founder
of the production company Picture Shuru
Productions, and is a co-owner of the Indian
Super League football team Mumbai City FC.
His off-screen life is the subject of fervent
tabloid reporting in India. He is the recipient
of several awards, including five Filmfare
Awards.Apart from these; Ranbir has been
into relations with many actresses.
Currently he is dating the Bollywood’s sexy
actress Katrina Kaif and they have been
spotted together in various locations all over
the world. He has never expressed about his
love and remained tight lipped even after
several trails from the media. Along with
these, Ranbir has been endorsing various
international brands all over. Sharukh
Khan and Ranbir Kapoor emerged as the
Bollywood actors in the country with more
than $100-million valuation in the first ever
