landed. Designed to aid the first step to becoming a<br />
professional DJ, the <strong>CDJ</strong>-<strong>850</strong> is the most affordable<br />
deck to feature <strong>Pioneer</strong>’s club-standard layout –<br />
delivering familiarity between home and booth.<br />
The <strong>CDJ</strong>-<strong>850</strong> inherits many exciting features from the<br />
top range players, including the full-size 206mm scratch<br />
jog wheel. The expanded visual display and large rotary<br />
select dial, as featured on the <strong>CDJ</strong>-2000, enable fast<br />
track browsing and selection – while the Wave display<br />
shows the peaks and drops of the entire track.<br />
The new addition to the <strong>CDJ</strong> family delivers next<br />
generation digital sound quality unheard of at this<br />
price point. It supports all digital music files – including<br />
professional 24-bit WAV and AIFF formats – from CD,<br />
USB or PC. DJs can arrive, plug in and perform.<br />
An intuitive Tag List feature means that DJs can<br />
spontaneously add tracks to a playlist, many tracks<br />
ahead of time. Plus it is the only player in the range to<br />
enable editing of set lists on the fly, directly on the deck.<br />
And the <strong>CDJ</strong>-<strong>850</strong>’s history function means that every<br />
playlist is automatically saved.<br />
Set preparation is also a breeze, with the <strong>CDJ</strong>-<strong>850</strong><br />
completing the range of rekordbox enabled players.<br />
DJs can use the software to prepare for club gigs at<br />
home, safe in the knowledge that their settings will<br />
instantly be available – whichever next gen <strong>CDJ</strong> model<br />

Like its <strong>CDJ</strong> brethren, the <strong>CDJ</strong>-<strong>850</strong> features a 100m<br />
pitch slider with 6, 10 and 16 per cent pitch control.<br />
Play, search and cue buttons, tempo variation and<br />
vibration-resistance also come as standard. And, like<br />
the <strong>CDJ</strong>-900, it boasts an advanced Auto-Beat Loop<br />
function to make precisely timed loops even easier<br />
to achieve.<br />
With many more value-added features such as the USB<br />
HID capability and 24-bit soundcard for DJ software, the<br />
