THE SILHOUETTES® created, directed and owned by Lynne Waggoner<br />
-Patton was first formed <strong>in</strong> March, 2009. Miss Lynne was asked to create<br />
a show us<strong>in</strong>g photographs, shadows and dance that would make <strong>the</strong><br />
audience remember Colorado. Thus, THE SILHOUETTES® were formed. In<br />
October, 2010 THE SILHOUETTES® were asked to audition for America’s<br />
Got Talent Season 6 and <strong>the</strong> journey began. THE SILHOUETTES® went<br />
on to place 2nd out of over 100,000 acts and became one of <strong>the</strong> alltime<br />
favorite acts on <strong>the</strong> show. Performed by children and young<br />
adults, THE SILHOUETTES® produce an entirely new standard <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
performance world. Us<strong>in</strong>g <strong>light</strong>, color, video, photographs, dance,<br />
act<strong>in</strong>g and mime, stories unfold filled with depth, <strong>in</strong>trigue, beauty and<br />
mystique.<br />
ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES ~ The possibilities are endless with THE<br />
SILHOUETTES®. Although shadow work is centuries old, Lynne Waggoner<br />
-Patton offers a new standard by creat<strong>in</strong>g photo overlay where <strong>the</strong><br />
dancers create a shape and <strong>the</strong> image of <strong>the</strong> shape appears on <strong>the</strong><br />
screen. The fact that <strong>the</strong> cast is primarily children is also a new adventure<br />
that offers joy, excitement and unbelievable moments. The audience will<br />
experience “goose bump moments” from <strong>the</strong> passionate performances<br />
and feel <strong>in</strong>spired by <strong>the</strong> positive messag<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
KIDS HELPING KIDS ~ THE SILHOUETTES® have raised over $60,000<br />
for homeless children <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> United States through <strong>the</strong>ir performances<br />
and strive to cont<strong>in</strong>ue to achieve <strong>the</strong>ir goal of help<strong>in</strong>g children around<br />
<strong>the</strong> world.<br />
THE CAST! Cast members are “high level humans” tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g up to 20<br />
plus hours per week while still ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g a 3.0 GPA <strong>in</strong> school. They are<br />
respectful, <strong>in</strong>telligent car<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>dividuals who ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> collective goal<br />
of help<strong>in</strong>g children <strong>in</strong> need through every performance.<br />
THE DIRECTOR ~ Lynne Waggoner-Patton has been an icon <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
performance world for over 32 years specializ<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> musical <strong>the</strong>ater performance<br />
as well as a dance and vocal educator, choreographer and<br />
judge. Her work has received numerous awards and worldwide recognition.<br />
Her students can be seen on television and film, on tour with lead<strong>in</strong>g<br />
pop and country artists and <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>aters across <strong>the</strong> nation. Her most<br />
recent televised work on <strong>the</strong> Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Show of<br />
Strength received rave reviews and she is <strong>in</strong> high demand for creat<strong>in</strong>g<br />
shows <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> United States and <strong>in</strong>ternationally.<br />
THE CRAFT ~ Our unique ability to create shadow shapes with our<br />
bodies and tell stories us<strong>in</strong>g dance, act<strong>in</strong>g, photographs, video and<br />
