The EFT930-B payment terminal uses a Bluetooth ® radio link
to make mobile transactions possible. Whether in a restaurant
or in a traditional shop, payment is much more convenient.
Based on Telium ® technology, the EFT930-B combines
power, security and ease of use. It is ready for EMV migration
and is VISA PED certified.
Efficient transactions
With the EFT930-B, all transactions are
carried out in front of the cardholder.
Sagem Monetel has designed the terminal
to have outstanding computing power
(RISC 32-bit processor), a radio highspeed
Bluetooth ® link for authorisation
requests or for on-line payments and an
ultra-fast printer—all of which make for
the quickest transactions possible.
Ergonomics that make a
difference
The EFT930-B’s light weight (less than
470g) means it is both easy to use and
handle and fits snugly in the palm of the
user’s hand. The smart card reader is
easily accessible, and the magnetic stripe
card reader—located lengthwise on the
unit—ensures high-quality readings. The
large backlit display guides the user.
Integrated security
The EFT930-B can be adapted to the
national and international security
regulations. It is certified VISA PED in
both off-line and on-line mode. Lastly,
its Risc 32-bit security coprocessor ensures
confidential pin entry and processing of
enciphering algorithms (DES, 3DES, RSA).
EFT930-B protects its radio link by using
the Bluetooth ® embeded security algorithms
but also Sagem Monetel specific
methods.
Successful integration
The EFT930-B can be connected to a cash
register or any devices thanks to the serial
and USB links in its base. In addition to
this, one base can handle Bluetooth ® radio
communication with seven portable terminals.
Ready for IP
With its DS930 BE base, the EFT930-B
terminal can be integrared in a local
Ethernet network or communicate over
private or public IP network. Software
modules adapted to IP facilitate the
terminal’s integration (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc).
The EFT930-B combines the flexibility of a
Bluetooth ® radio link with the performance
of IP technology.
Technology for today and
tomorrow
The EFT930-B is engineered to adapt to
changes in payment systems: It has a
large memory capacity (8 + 8 MB), four
SAM (Security Access Module) readers
and an optional SD Card or MMC reader.
Easy application development
Numerous C language applications are
compatible with the entire Telium ® range
by using the SDK Telium ® development
station. Developers have numerous
modules (e.g. ISO 8583, SPDH, EMV level 2
module, etc) at their disposition.
