The Windows Movie Maker software was used to effectively display global LST (land surface
temperature) information to educate society about the changes occurring, such as global warming,
which is one of the main concerns in the scientific community. LST is an important factor
controlling most physical, chemical and biological processes in the Earth. LST is measured in
Celsius during the night. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) takes an
average of one satellite picture of LST (night) per month, which was used in this research. The
reason behind this study is that temperature also influences weather and climate patterns.
