DESCRIPTION: ONE (1) 2500KW GM EMD DIESEL ELECTRIC GENERATING UNIT<br />
SCOPE OF SUPPLY<br />
One (1) 2500KW continuous, 2750KW standby GM EMD <strong>diesel</strong> <strong>electric</strong> <strong>generating</strong> set. Unit is skid mounted<br />
on heavy steel base and has a 20-cylinder, 2-stroke cycle, 900RPM turbo charged <strong>diesel</strong> engine. Model S20-<br />
645-E4 with Woodward EGB-10 governor, direct connected to Ideal Type SAB 3125KVA synchronous<br />
generator, 3/60/480V, 3759 amps, 0.8 P.F. with direct connected Brushless 21KW exciter 125VDC. The<br />
system has all the necessary related auxiliary equipment mounted on skid such as cooling system, fuel oil<br />
system, oil filter system (exhaust muffler) air starting system and engine control panel which integrally<br />
piped and wired. Offered with the <strong>unit</strong> is switchgear, 4000 amp circuit breakers, metering and relay; CT’s<br />
and PT’s; voltage regulator. Unit is equipped with provisions for auto fast start, warm up and shut down.<br />
Year of manufacturer 1973. Fuel rate: 184 GPH at full load. New power pack assembly installed in 2007.<br />
