Beginner A Cup competitions – Dancers may dance
any of the dances in the previous section provided
they are Beginner A for that dance. Dancers will be
permitted to compete in their own age or one age up
if their own age is not provided on the syllabus.
Presentation will consist of podiums, music, sash etc.
The same rules will apply to Beginner B and C cup
competitions. Sash in cup competitions returnable
after presentation. Sashes to keep in Open
Championships.
Preliminary (Pre Open) Championship – Dancers must
have danced one solo dance in this section to dance
in Preliminary Championship.
Planning an end of term dancing school outing ? Why
not make a weekend of it. Waterford is very close to
the popular seaside town of Tramore with its fabulous
beach, amusements etc. Contact The Grand Hotel,

From Dublin/Kilkenny/Limerick :- follow signs for
Waterford and approaching City follow signs for
Rosslare. At end of dual-carriageway turn left
towards New Ross and you will come to Rhu Glen on
your right hand side.
