Mission Statement
Whitetails Unlimited, Inc.’s purpose is to raise funds
in support of: (1) educational programs;
(2) habitat conservation, and (3) preservation of
the hunting tradition for the direct benefit of the
white-tailed deer and other wildlife.
Goal 1
A national educational campaign designed to address
and instill in the general public, with emphasis
on youth, a basic understanding of practical conservation
measures.
Goal II
Promote the acquisition, restoration, and
management of wildlife habitat.
Goal III
Preserve the hunting tradition for future generations.

Since our beginning in 1982, Whitetails Unlimited
has remained true to its mission and has made
great strides in the field of con ser va tion. We
have gained the rep u ta tion of being the nation’s premier
or ga ni za tion ded i cat ing our resources to the bet ter ment
of the white-tailed deer and its en vi ron ment. WTU has
developed strat e gies and implemented programs that
have sus tained tra di tion al values and promoted the philosophy
that wildlife is a cherished resource. Our belief
is that future programs must continue to be fostered to
ensure that the delicate bal ance between nature and man
is maintained.
The strength of Whitetails Unlimited is our mem ber ship.
In two decades, WTU has built a national rep u ta tion of
integrity, core values and ded i ca tion to its mission. It
would not be possible to ac com plish anything without
our mem ber ship base of over 70,000 avid con ser va -
tion ists. By joining with us you can amplify your voice

Since 1982 Whitetails Unlimited has been raising money
and funding pro grams for the benefit of white-tailed deer
and other wildlife. Local events have 50 percent of net
pro ceeds re turned to local chapters to fund local projects
— a policy unique in the industry.
More than 33.4 million dollars have been invested
in local, state and na tion al projects and pro grams.
