OUR MISSION

OUR CORE VALUES
Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre is a beautiful year-round
destination, conveniently located in the UBC Malcolm Knapp
Research Forest, in Maple Ridge, BC. Originally founded in 1949
to house forestry field-study camps, our centre has since grown
into a stunning 5-star destination perfect for any group retreat,
conference, program, or event.
With a large variety of cabins and meeting spaces, ranging from
rustic to well appointed, our centre can comfortably accommodate
any group, and is able to sleep & feed up to 150 guests at one
time! See our CABINS page for more information, and to decide
which cabin is right for your group!
The Mission of Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre is to create an environment for our guests to be ‘at’ their most
connected. We offer a place of retreat and refuge in a spectacular natural setting served in an authentic and
wholesome manner.
We believe in the connections between people and planet. We believe in the importance of relationships, and value
friendship, learning, and personal growth. Our vision is to become British Columbia’s leading conference and retreat
destination that delivers connections that matter. This will support the overarching goal of making Loon Lake Lodge
& Retreat Centre a successful, sustainable, year-round operation.
